How We Operate
Depending on the project, Hi-Fi Doc engages the client in one of the following ways:
- Firm Fixed Price Quotations
For simple projects we provide firm, fixed price quotations that protect the customer from surprise costs or expenses for delays that are beyond their control.
- Design Build Services
Hi-Fi Doc provides a unique Design/Build service whereby we design each of the Audio, Video, and Lighting systems to meet the customer’s budget and feature/performance requirements. Generous support by phone and in person is provided to the owner’s architect and MEP engineers. At the end of the design phase, the customer is provided a fully-detailed quotation and supporting documentation from which the build phase can be executed. The documentation and design are the property of the owner, and there is no obligation to enter into the build phase with the designer. We are unique in providing this logical break point between the design phase and the build phase, which helps keep the client’s options open. Of course, we hope that once a project reaches this point, the relationship will be strong enough that we become the client's obvious choice for the build phase.
- Bid Services
For systems designed by Electro-Acoustic consultants, we respond to their Design/Bid/Build opportunities by bidding our equipment and services to the consultant's design and specifications.
For large institutional systems, we are vendors to, and invitees on many "bid lists" where we respond to Request for Proposal (RFP) Request for Bid and Request for Quote (RFQ) invitations.
