HI-FI DOC's First Residential Customers
date back to 1970 when “high fidelity” stereo systems and “color TV” were the new and exciting frontiers of home entertainment.
Sophisticated systems and all of the gadgets and gear involved made for a fun hobby for many, but frustrated those who simply wanted to enjoy their music and television.
Our goal
then, as it is now, is to make the highest technology available to our customer, while also making it simple enough to enjoy. From music in every room, to full-fledged home theaters with automation for lighting and shades, we're here for your listening and viewing pleasure.
Many of our customers are interested in simple “non-tech-y” solutions where they have background music throughout their homes, TV’s where they work (office, kitchen, workout rooms) and a nice place to watch movies and TV. These make up the majority of our customers and, on average, spend less than 5% of their home’s value on these electronics. Our job is to make these things work together without adding complexity or stress to their lives.
